DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE
Palm Beach Skate Zone’s Youth Hockey Development League strives to be an athlete centered program that provides a high quality experience in which every athlete:

Has fun playing

Learns the game of hockey (rules, new concepts, penalties, etc)

Learns and improves individual skills (skating, stick handling, passing, shooting, etc)

Becomes a better teammate
-
Learns “life lessons” that have value beyond the ice rink

7U (Birth Years 2018-2020)
League Highlights

Focused on developing the foundational skills needed to start playing hockey. All practices follow USA Hockey’s ADM station-based model and feature half-ice games.

Includes 30 ice sessions, team jersey and socks, 2 video sessions, end-of-season player awards, and a potluck party.

Our goal for this division is to help players have fun, build confidence in their abilities, and begin learning basic team concepts like taking turns, sharing the puck, and supporting teammates.

All players & Goalies are REQUIRED to attend all Evaluation skates in order to build fair and balanced teams for the season.
VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED
Head Coaches receive Skate Zone Hockey Warm-Ups, End of Season
T-Shirt & $100 account credit at the conclusion of the season.
